Take Control

Date: 7th March Location: Tullie House Carlisle

On 20th March we will launch our film on combating hate crime ‘Take Control’ at the theatre at Tullie House. The film will be launched as part of a conference on how communities can combat hate crime which is being organised by Carlisle Mencap. The conference is being supported by the Police Commissioner’s office and the Home office. We were delighted that the Home office funded the film and are supporting our conference. Kate Yeung who is the hate crime lead at the conference is the key note speaker at the conference. Other speakers are Aftab Khan from AWAZ and Cumbria Police. We would like to invite you all to this conference. Please let us know on 01228 674393 or enquiries@carlislemencap.co.uk if you would like to come.
